Laci’s Dream Comes True in Croke Park
Laci was extremely proud to represent her school St. Patricks National School, Bearna Chle and her Camogie Club Annacurra at the Hurling All Ireland in Croke Park partaking in the GAA/INTO Cumann na mBunscol Exhibition Go Games. It was a dream to play in Croke Park and a lifetime experience that she’ll never forget. Laci lined out at number 8 for the Clare team. She was immensely proud to score a goal for Clare. Laci had won the opportunity to participate on the day by winning the Wicklow Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Skills Competition. The Cork and Clare team players were represented from schools all over Ireland. They were welcomed at the Barbara Ward Centre on Conliffe Road by representatives of the INTO and GAA/Cumann na mBunscol. They were then taken to Croke Park where they received their gear and were treated to lunch. It was an amazing experience to be part of All Ireland Hurling Final day, the atmosphere was magic. Laci would like to thank her school, St. Patricks Bearna Chle and her camogie club, Annacurra Camogie Club who have mentored and supported her from an early age.
