Report on AGM
We would like to thank all those who attended our AGM in Laragh on the 11th September. We had a good spread of teachers from across the county and we greatly value their input and time. The promotion of Gaelic games and culture can only thrive in our county with the effort, dedication and commitment of our volunteer teachers. A special thanks to Garrett Doyle, our GDA in the North East, who attended the meeting. We would also like to sincerely thank our outgoing Boys Football Officer, Áine Quinn, for all her hard work in the role. She will be sorely missed and we wish her all the best in her new teaching position in Blessington.

Election of Officers
A big thanks to our outgoing officers, Mick Dunne and Áine Quinn for all their efforts in organising various activities on the committee. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
We would like to welcome our new incoming officers:
Assistant Secretary: Caoimhe Lohan (St Patricks Loreto, Bray)
Boys Football Officer: Tom Magee (Scoil Chualainn, Bray)
Hurleys and Helmets for Hire
Often the biggest obstacle to promoting hurling in schools is a lack of equipment. With that in mind, the committee have purchased x30 hurleys and x30 helmets to loan out to schools interested in trialling hurling in their schools.
The loan period is approximately 6-8 weeks. If your school would be interested in availing of this offer please contact, Eamonn Hughes, eamonn.hughes1@gmail.com
No bands on hurleys
Just a reminder that it is the participating school’s responsibility to check that players have no metal bands on their hurleys (unless taped over). This is for insurance purposes and is a nationwide directive.
If you would like to help out in any capacity in promoting Gaelic games in our primary schools or have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact secretary Brian Cornyn at runai.cnmbwicklow@yahoo.ie
