Great Day Out at 3rd and 4th Class Girls’ Football Participation Day
Well done to all the schools who participated in the 3rd and 4th class girls blitz on the 17th October. Bray Emmets was a hive of activity as 12 pitches witnessed some fantastic games. The girls brought enthusiasm and skill; and it was a great to see so many girls being active playing Gaelic football in the October sunshine. Thanks to Bray Emmets for the use of their facilities, Dave Barry for setting up the pitches and special mention must go to the Young Whistlers who refereed on the day, many of whom were doing so for the very first time. Schools represented included St. Patrick’s Wicklow, St. Coen’s, St. Patrick’s Bray, Ashford, Kilmac, Holy Rosary, St. Laurence’s, Nun’s Cross, Wicklow Educate Together, St. Peter’s, Ravenswell, Greystones Educate Together, Gaelscoil Uí Chéadaigh, St. Kevin’s, Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, St. Brigid’s and Newtown.
