Rules for Allianz Hurling League

Boys’ Allianz Hurling League Days

For the hurling this year we will have a blitz type competition run on a league format over two days.  This competition is 9 a-side with no age limit.  Therefore each team plays all the other teams in the division once over the two days.  The rules will be as follows

2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.

·        

The team with the highest points overall wins.

·        

Should 2 teams end up with the same points the winners of their encounter in the competition wins.

·        

If this game ended in a draw then, for those 2 teams, the team with the best score difference over the two days wins.

               Division 1 games will be on  Bray Emmet’s pitches Wed. 19^th and 26^th September 2012.

               Division 2 games will be on Bray Emmet’s pitches Thurs. 20 ^th  and  27^th September 2012.
