Official Launch of Website and AGM

The new website of Cumann na mBunscol Cill Mhantáin  www.cnmbwicklow.ie was officially launched on Thursday 4^th October in the Parkview Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy.  This event was combined with the AGM and there was a good attendance on the night.  The following were in attendance – Jim O’Riordán, Dave Barry, Ciarán O’Neill, Claire Frawley, Pamela McDermott, Emer Fahy, Michéal Ó Murchú, Sinéad Ní Chrean Loinsigh, Seán Stakelum, Áine Quinn, Padraig Corbett, Ciarán Byrne, Tommy Brennan (West Wicklow), Breda Donnelly (Camogie), Dominic Leech (Ladies Football) and Paul Garrigan, Hugh Kenny (County coaching).  Unfortunately no one from the county board could attend and they sent their apologies.  Cathaoirleach Jim O’Riordan opened proceedings which was followed by a presentation of the website by PRO Pamela McDermott, and reports from Cisteoir Dave Barry, Tommy Brennan on West Wicklow, County coach Paul Garrigan, Dominic Leech on Ladies football and Michéal Ó Murchú on hurling.  Paul Garrigan highlighted that a new website www.wicklowgaagamesdevelopment.com is being launched soon.  Elections followed with these results – Cathaoirleach&Boys Football – Jim O’Riordán, Runaí – Ciarán O’Neill, Cisteoir – Dave Barry, PRO – Pamela McDermott, Ladies Football – Claire Frawley, Camogie – Emer Fahy and Hurling – Michéal Ó Murchú.  The meeting ended with a presentation to Dave Barry on his retirement from teaching by Jim O’Riordán.
