Kilcoole Primary School nominated for two National Awards

Body:

Kilcoole Primary School has been nominated for two national awards for their Allianz Cumann na mBunscol work.  They have been nominated in The School of the Year category and the Promotion of Gaelic Games and Culture category.  This is a huge honour for the school as this is a countrywide award.  These nominations  recognise the enormous effort that is being put in to promote gaelic games in the school. Cumann na mBunscol, Cill Mhantáin also entered the Public Relations category but unfortunately did not get a nomination.  This is slightly disappointing as we get wonderful coverage in the local media and also a lot of effort has gone into the new website.  Perhaps next year! Kilcoole Primary School will proudly fly the flag for the Garden County.  The Cornmarket Awards Banquet will take place in Croke Park Stadium on Friday, November 30th at 7.00 p.m.  We wish all involved the best of luck!
