Stars of the future

Thirteen teams from Bray, Greystones, Kilcoole and Kilmacanogue took part in an indoor gaelic football tournament for 3rd and 4th class boys in Loughlinstown Leisure Centre last Thursday the 24th Jan.  For many it was their first time playing for their school and they showed great pride in wearing their school jersey.  Each team played four or five games and matches were keenly contested.  At the end of the day even though there were no medals or trophies the boys really enjoyed themselves and went back to their schools tired and exhausted.

A huge thank you has to go out to all the teachers and coaches of all the teams who took part in the blitz and for helping out on the day.

Schools that took part were Kilcoole Primary School, St.Cronan's Bray, Scoil Chualann Bray, St. Peter's Bray, St. Fergal's Bray, Kilmacanogue National School, St Laurence's Greystones and St. Kevin's Greystones.
