St. Cronan's and Newtown clinch Division 1 and 2

Boys’ Allianz Football League Day 2    

Day 2 of the league produced another fine spectacle of fast paced football in Bray Emmets.  This was a 9 a-side league and games were exciting and filled with skill.  Teams finished out their divisions playing the teams that they hadn’t yet encountered from day one.  This decided the winners of each division, who were awarded medals and a trophy, the runners up also received medals and a player of each division was awarded a trophy.  All games were played with great sportsmanship and all the players and mentors are to be congratulated on being part of such a successful event.  Division one winners were St. Cronan’s with Scoil Chualann runners up, Division two winners were Newtown with St. Laurences runners up.  Thanks to Bray Emmets for their facilities, to all the referees and particularly Garrett Doyle for his hard work and organisation.
