Successful Camogie Blitz in Kilcoole!
On Wednesday May 15th Kilcoole GAA Ground played host to the annual Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Camogie Blitz. The teams who participated in the blitz were Kilcoole, St. Patrick’s Bearna Chlé, St. Brigid’s Greystones, Our Lady’s School Rathdrum. Good weather conditions provided ideal conditions for camogie and a high level of skill was evident throughout the day. Each team played all the other teams over the course of the day on a league basis: 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw. The team that finished on the most points at end of the games were the winners. All games were closely contested with St. Brigid’s Greystones coming in second place and a strong Bearna Chlé side emerging as overall champions. Maith sibh!
