Camogie Development Initiatives

A number of Camogie Development Initiatives are currently being put in place for the 2014 season to help Clubs/ Schools help their players build on their skills.

The first of these is a series of 3 Workshops as follows:

1. Wednesday March 12th in AUGHRIM from 7.30 - 9.30pm  INDOORS

     'FUNDAMENTALS'' - aimed at coaches training young girls - beginners and playing to U12/ Go Games - and also useful for coaches of any age group.

2. Wednesday March 26th in Colaiste Chraobh Abhann Sports Hall KILCOOLE from 7.30-9.30pm   INDOORS

    'GOALKEEPING'- aimed at all Camogie Coaches, this workshop will deal with training and coaching Adult Goalkeepers and will also help coaches of younger players. Note: This workshop will not train Goalkeepers - but will train people how to train Goalkeepers. Adult Goalkeepers can also come along and learn how to pass on their skills to younger players. 

3. Wednesday April 9th Venue to be confirmed from 7.30 - 9.30pm OUTDOORS

    'GAME based TRAINING' - aimed at Coaches of Adult players - looking at coaching in game based situations - of benefit to all coaches.

The fee for each Workshop is 10 euro and if you attend all 3 workshops you pay only 20 euro.
