Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 1

On Wednesday 15th October twenty schools took part in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Coughlan Cup in Bray Emmets grounds. The schools were divided into 4 divisions ,depending on size and experience. Schools represented were St. Cronan’s, St. Kevin’s, Templerainey, Kilcoole, St. Pat’s, Scoil Chualann, Newtown, St. Brigid’s, St. Kevin’s Glendalough, Shillelagh, Gaelscoil Ui Cheadaigh, Gaelscoil na gClocha Liath, Kilmac, Gaelscoil Arklow and Moneystown.  The football was honest, skillful and competitive. The emphasis was on inclusion with every child given the opportunity to show their ability. This in no way took from the skills level or competitiveness of the competition.

Day 2 of the Allianz Coughlan Cup will take place on November 12th.
