Registration and County AGM
Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow’s year will begin next week with our annual AGM and Registration on Thursday September 12th in Lynhams of Laragh at 5pm. Tea and sandwiches will be served afterwards.
This will be an ALL COUNTY AGM and registration for ALL SCHOOLS in the north-east, south and west regions.
Schools must attend and register at the AGM if they wish to participate in Cumann na mBunscol activities this year.
There will be a registration fee of 50 euro, which will cover all Cumann na mBunscol activities for the year but NOT sports day (this will be an additional €50 entry fee paid at the Sports Day meeting in June). The registration fee will cover growing costs, referee’s expenses etc.
The AGM will allow us to create an accurate and up to date contact list for the current school year and ensure that every school that wants to become involved in Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow activities can do so. This brings us into line with common practice in other counties.
School have been emailed the Registration Form for 2019-2020, please complete this and bring it along with the €50 Registration fee to Thursdays meeting.
The deadline for registration is September 30th. If you cannot attend next week’s meeting please let Claire Frawley, Runaí know and you can forward the registration form and fee to our treasurer Emer Fahy at St. Anthony’s Building, Kilcoole Primary School, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.
The agenda for our AGM was also emailed to schools but if there is anything further you would like to add to the agenda, please do not hesitate to contact our Runaí.
The AGM is an opportunity for teachers throughout Wicklow as members of Cumann na mBunscol to meet as both a sporting and teaching community to share and discuss activities and give feedback and recommendations for our organisation for the coming year.
